The city and thus the Norderney island is a state-recognized spa. It therefore has the right to charge a spa fee from every guest. For your Vacation at the North Sea there are several ways to pay this tourist tax.

When the dates of your vacation are fixed, the Kurkarte NorderneyCard can be ordered online. At the same time, various additional bookings can be made. For example, it is possible to rent beach chairs in advance.

After paying the spa fee, many services are available in your Vacation on Norderney free of charge or heavily discounted. Among other things, you get free access to all public beaches.

The annual spa fee is 95.20 euros (adults) and 47.60 euros (youth). Children up to 13 years are free of charge.
People with 100 percent disability pay half, registered accompanying persons are completely exempt from the spa fee.
