All holidaymakers who want to spend their vacation on the car-free Island Langeoog want to spend, take a ferry boat from the port of Bensersiel to the island.
When is the ferry to Langeoog?
As the ferry service has been tide-independent since the port expansion of 1976, regular and several times daily crossings are offered. There are only some differences between a summer and a winter schedule. According to the current shipping timetable Langeoog there are the following departure times in autumn/winter 2017 (04.09. to 05.11.): 06.45 (Monday to Saturday, does not run on holidays) and daily at 09.00, 11.00, 13.00, 15.00 and 17.00. At 18.00 every Friday there is an additional ferry. In winter (06.11.2017 to 16.03.2018) the ferries operate as follows: 06.45 (Monday to Friday, not on holidays and on 24 and 31 December), daily at 09.30, 13.30, 15.30 and 17.30. Every Friday, but not on holidays, another ferry departs from the port of Bensersiel at 19.30.
