Borkum is the largest of the seven East Frisian Islands. It is further away from the East Frisian coast than the six other Islands and therefore already has high sea climate. For groups that want a Vacation at the North Sea plan, Borkum's only youth hostel is highly recommended.
With 580 beds, the youth hostel is actually the largest in the whole of Germany. Even at short notice, sports groups, school classes or even mini groups can enjoy their vacation here in a communal atmosphere.
The area of about 20 hectares offers plenty of opportunity for sports activities.
The hostel is located between the main port and the city. By bus or island train you can reach the pedestrian zone in 15 minutes, by bike it takes no more than 30 minutes.
It should be noted that the hostel is currently not fully accessible for wheelchair users.

The proximity of the hostel to the Wadden Sea invites you to experience this unique natural landscape with a trained mudflat guide. You move here in the national park "Lower Saxonian Wadden Sea" and feel firsthand how full of life this area is!
